Overview

Rules

There will be a competition for Middle School (entering grades 6-8) and a competition for High School (entering grades 9-12).

Tuesday, July 27th: Towerstorm Challenge

Wednesday, July 28th: Meltdown Challenge

Thursday, July 29th: Velocity Challenge

Competition hours are from 8:00 AM ET – 10:00 PM ET.

Only a student’s HIGHEST GAME SCORE each day will count as their tournament score. Play as much as you’d like—we’ll keep track of your highest score only.

Students may not win more than 1 daily prize.

Students must play on Math curriculum on the below designated levels for their points to count:

STUDENTS ARE PROHIBITED FROM ALLOWING OTHER INDIVIDUALS TO USE THEIR ACCOUNT TO PLAY ON THEIR BEHALF. ANY INDICATION OF THIS, OR OF ANY DISHONEST BEHAVIOR OR CHEATING, WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE ELIMINATION FROM THE TOURNAMENT AND ALL FUTURE DIMENSIONU EVENTS.

Who is this competition for?

Girls Day Out DimensionU Esports Competition is open to all students entering grades 6–12 who are registered for, and enrolled in, Girls Day Out Summer Camp 2021.

Which of my points count toward my total score?

We will count your HIGHEST math game score each day on your correct level. We’ll add your Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday highest scores up to get your final score at the end of the week.

What happens if there is a tie?

In the event of a scoring tie, the student who earned those points FIRST in the day will be the winner.

Can I play any game during the tournament?

You must play the designated game of the day for your points to count:

  • Tuesday: Towerstorm
  • Wednesday: Meltdown
  • Thursday: Velocity
Can I play any time of the day for my points to count?

Competition hours are 8:00 AM ET – 10:00 PM ET.

What if I miss a day of the competition—am I still eligible to win?

Absolutely! We’ll simply add up your highest game scores on the days you did play.

When will winners be announced?

Winners will be announced on Friday, July 30th. Prize distribution will be handled through Girls Day Out. For questions on prizes please contact gdosummercamp@gmail.com.

Any indication of cheating by a player will result in immediate disqualification from this, and future, DimensionU competitions. DimensionU has sole discretion in removing a player from the competition.
